Marshal Pierre Augerau born.

Born the son of a fruit seller in Paris on the 21st of June 1757 Pierre Augerau joined the Carabiniers at the age of 17.
After killing an officer in a duel he joined the Russian army serving against the Ottoman Empire, later he also saw service in the Prussian and Neapolitian Armies.
He was created Marshal in 1804, supported Napoleon during the 100 days and at Neys trial refused to find him guilty.
